GENERAL INFORMATION

  •  Presentation Proposals for IPMEN must be submitted online.
  • The official languages of IPMEN 2014 are Japanese, English and Spanish.
  •  Presentations can be in either language.
  • Please send your presentation according with the official formats.
  • For further information please read the relevant section below or contact us at t-sasaki@kaiyodai.ac.jp.
  • The Conference Committee will provide to the Conference Presentations the following equipment: Computer, pointer, projector, printer, speakers and scanner.
  • If you required special equipment not listed above please send us an e-mail with the equipment specifications before June 1st, 2014. A week after we will answer you whether we could provide them or not.

TYPE OF PRESENTATIONS

Papers

  • Only oral presentations are accepted.
  • 15 minutes of oral presentation.
  • 5 minutes of questions.
  • Papers will be scheduled in sessions according with the themes.
  • Each session will be managed by a chair (Nominated by the Organization Committee).

Workshops

  • Workshops could have more than one activity.
  • 45 minutes of workshops.
  • Workshops will be scheduled in sessions according with the themes.
  • Workshops will be managed by a chair (Nominated by the Organization Committee).

Posters

  • Posters must be a graphical presentation.
  • They will be displayed throughout the conference until 04:30 PM.

STEP 1

  1. Please open our Home Page: http://ipmen-2014-japan.jimdo.com.
  2. Select "Call for Papers" button.
  3. Select download Papers Registration Format
  4. Fill the Paper Registration Format as required.
  5. Send it back to t-sasaki@kaiyodai.ac.jp with the Title “Paper Registration (Your Full Name)”.
  6. We will send you a confirmation e-mail during the next three days after receive your information (If you do not receive any e-mail please contact us).

STEP 2

  1. An Evaluation Committee designed by the Conference Committee will assess your paper information.
  2. A week after we will inform you whether your paper was accepted or not.
  3. For not accepted Papers: Please complete your Paper Registration Format with the required information by the Evaluation Committee and send it to us again.
  4. For accepted Papers: Please go to our Home Page (http://ipmen-2014-japan.jimdo.com) and be sure that your Paper has been included on the Accepted Papers List.

STEP 3

  1. Please open our Home Page: http://ipmen-2014-japan.jimdo.com.
  2. Select "Call for Papers" button.
  3. Select download the Papers Guidelines.
  4. Please read it carefully.
  5. Submit your full Paper as required in the Papers Guidelines to the following e-mail: t-sasaki@kaiyodai.ac.jp with the title “Full Paper (Your Full Name)”.

STEP 4

        1.    For Presentations:

·       Please send your Presentation before July 1st, 2014 at                    

    t-sasaki@kaiyodai.ac.jp with the title “Presentation / Your Full Name”.

        2.    For Workshops:

·       Please send your full schedule activities (including how many time, you need), material needs and room organization (tables, chairs, etc.) until July 1st, 2014 at t-sasaki@kaiyodai.ac.jp with the title “Workshop / Your Name”.

        3.    For Posters:

·       Please send your space requirements and any other needs until July 1st, 2014 at t-sasaki@kaiyodai.ac.jp with the title “Poster / Your Name”.
